FAQ – Beginner-friendly classes
Welcome to the beginner-friendly classes FAQ for Hastings and Seaford. Here you’ll find clear answers to common questions about starting Tai Chi, Qigong, and internal arts training. If anything isn’t covered, feel free to contact me, I’m here to help you get started.
Are the classes beginner-friendly?
Absolutely. All classes are designed so beginners can learn safely at their own pace. You’ll be guided step by step, with no pressure and plenty of support.
What should I wear to class?
Just wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that lets you move easily. Trainers or soft shoes are ideal — no special uniform required.
How can I pay for classes?
You can pay by cash or card when you arrive, or purchase class passes in advance if you prefer.
Do I need to be fit or flexible to start?
Not at all. The practices develop strength, mobility and balance over time. You simply begin from where you are.
Can I attend if I have an injury or health concern?
Yes, in most cases — but please let me know before class so I can adapt movements for your needs and ensure you train safely.
I’m interested but not sure where to begin — what should I do?
Feel free to contact me anytime with questions or to discuss which class is best for you. I’m always happy to help you get started.
